The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Antonio Tajani, today signed at the Farnesina a Memorandum of Understanding with the National Institute for Social Security (INPS), represented by its President, Lawyer Gabriele Fava, to promote informational initiatives aimed at enhancing pension education among Italian citizens living abroad.
This initiative forms part of a broader strategy to improve consular services, with the goal of ensuring that essential services for Italians living abroad are delivered with ever-increasing variety and effectiveness, wherever they may be in the world.
Through this programme, outreach activities will be implemented – especially for the benefit of younger generations – to raise awareness about the workings and opportunities of the national social security system, with particular attention to supplementary pension schemes. A global information campaign targeting all Italian nationals residing abroad is already planned as part of the initiative.
