“Children in safe cities: urban safety and children’s rights”, a 4-year project funded by Italian Development Cooperation and CIES, a non-governmental organisation, is coming to a close. CIES, which this week celebrates its 30th birthday, has been working with Angolan partners on the project. The initiatives have helped over 1000 children and young people through social inclusion to prevent marginalisation, deviance and delinquency. The 1.1 million euro project was 70%-funded by the MFA, with the remainder coming from CIES and local partners. Read more, in Italian.
