The Italian Cultural Institute in Los Angeles will be hosting an exhibition on “Italy of the Future”, running from 4 September to 2 October 2013. The exhibition includes an original selection of some of our country’s most valuable achievements in the field of science and technology.
Looking at the past to celebrate the future
Looking at the past becomes a way to celebrate the future: centuries of inventions in all fields of art and knowledge are reinterpreted with the aim of building up the “Italy of the future”.
From robotics to archaeological restoration
Robotics, particle physics, medicine, archaeological and cultural heritage restoration technologies are only a few of the branches of knowledge taken into consideration by this interactive project. It provides the visitors with the opportunity to touch and experience directly the most promising results achieved by Italian researchers in several fields of Science.
The initiative is organised by the Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche National Research Council (CNR) in collaboration with the Italian Institute of Technology, the Italian Institute for Nuclear Physics, the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna in Pisa, and the Italian Cultural Institute.
