The Italian Embassy in Washington will host the 2014 ISSNAF Annual Event on 12 and 13 November. With over 3000 members, ISSNAF, the Italian Scientists and Scholars in North America Foundation, is the principle network of its kind in the country. The event will host “Cyber-Sciences and Research: Promoting a Perfect Match, Avoiding a Perfect Storm”, as well as the 2014 ISSNAF Lifetime Achievement Award. The award, in the form of a sculpture created by Italian artist Oliviero Rainaldi, goes this year to Andrew Viterbi. Read more, in Italian.
