The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is also following the case of approximately 200 WSC students and tutors stranded in Dubai

The Embassy in Abu Dhabi and the Consulate in Dubai are following the cases of hundreds of Italian citizens stranded in the United Arab Emirates due to the closure of airspace caused by the ongoing crisis in Iran. Among them is a group of Italian high school students: the count of WSC World Student Connection officials reports a total of 190 Italians, including 124 minors and 66 adult students, teachers, and WSC staff.

Forty-five rooms have been made available at Le Meridien Hotel, and an additional 20 rooms have been booked at a hotel in Bur Dubai (Dubai).

All students are entrusted to their tutors and teachers and will receive 24-hour support from WSC staff.
