The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Antonio Tajani, and the Minister of Tourism, Gianmarco Mazzi, will open today at 10:00 a.m., at the Farnesina, the ceremony for the signing of agreements with implementing bodies relating to projects under the “Tourism of Roots” initiative, financed through the Development and Cohesion Fund.
Since 2022, the Italian Foreign Ministry has served as the implementing administration for the NRRP measure “Tourism of Roots – An integrated strategy for the recovery of the tourism sector in post-Covid-19 Italy”, aimed at strengthening ties between approximately 80 million Italians living abroad, people of Italian descent and those of Italian origin, and their territories of origin, while also promoting sustainable tourism in small towns and rural areas.
