On Thursday, 4 April, at 10:15 a.m., the Farnesina’s Sala Aldo Moro will host the Opening Session of the Day on the Prevention of Document Counterfeiting, dedicated to reviewing and sharing experiences and best practices on preventing the counterfeiting of documents.
The phenomenon takes on particular relevance for the procedures carried out by Italian Consular offices abroad: from the issue of passports to recognising Italian citizenship and granting visas.
The Opening Session, which is open to the press, schedules comments by the Director General for Italians Abroad and Migration Policies, Luigi Vignali, the Central Anti-Crime Director of the State Police, Francesco Messina, the Director of the Police Service for Borders and Foreigners, Irene Tittoni, and by the Managing Director of the Istituto Poligrafico e Zecca dello Stato, Paolo Aielli.
