The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Enzo Moavero Milanesi, received at the Farnesina his Tunisian counterpart, Khemaies Jhinaoui.
In the cordial and comprehensive talk, the two ministers confirmed their commitment to continue their efforts to further strengthen the special strategic partnership relations between Italy and Tunisia.
The focus of the meeting was especially concentrated on irregular migration flows, in respect of which the ministers underscored the importance of cooperating through the already intense dialogue established between the two Countries.
The two ministers also went through the main dossiers of common interest, including economic relations, development cooperation – especially in the field of renewable energy sources – and strengthening cooperation in the area of culture.
