On 15 October, the Round Table on “Online Italian Language Teaching and Italian Studies” was organised by the Italian Cultural Institute (IIC) in Beijing and held at its Auditorium.
The initiative offered a forum for the exchange of experiences and opinions by Italian and Chinese teachers and experts and to debate the new MOOC (Massive Online Open Courses) Italian studies courses organised by two Chinese Universities (the Jilin Huaqiao Foreign Languages Institute and the Xi’an International Studies University) and the University for Foreigners of Siena, the “ItaliAmo” Italian language course for Chinese students recently launched by the Foreign Ministry (MAECI), and the use of the Blackboard platform developed to teach business Italian by the Guangdong University of Foreign Studies.
