A delegation from the Embassy of Italy in Ecuador, the Italo-Ecuadorian Fund (FIE) and the Chancery of that Latin American country visited the Province of Carchi, an area at the border of Colombia where the FIE has funded a series
of initiatives. The area has been afflicted for years by chronic instability as a result of conflict between the Colombian government and the armed guerrillas of the Farc. The two-day visit coincided with the successful clompletion of two
projects co-financed by the FIE and the provincial government in support of small famers and water/healthcare infrastructures for rural communities. Read more, in Italian
