The Consulate General of Italy in Jerusalem and the Italian embassy in Tel Aviv have been closely monitoring the case of Italian national Vittorio Fera, who is under arrest in the West Bank.
His case is being examined by the Israeli authorities, who have indicated his possible expulsion in the coming hours.
Our diplomatic mission has received the Israeli foreign ministry’s assurance of his good health and of a probably visit as soon as possible in order to provide any further consular assistance.
