The Annual Conference of the Directors of the Italian Cultural Institutes is a key forum for dialogue on the global promotion of Italian culture, structured around debates, seminars, working groups and contributions from leading public and institutional figures.
The last four Conferences were hosted in Naples (2022), Florence (2023), Matera (2024), and Macerata and Recanati (2025). The decision to hold the Conference outside the Farnesina marks the first step in a new course launched by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, aimed at promoting — including in the cultural and creative fields — the international projection of the most dynamic local communities, while strengthening their interaction with the Farnesina and with the network of Italian Cultural Institutes.
