| Competence and Tasks | The Inspector General’s Office of the Ministry and its offices abroad performs inspection and supervision tasks over the proper functioning and management of the Administration’s central offices and offices abroad; it promotes a culture of legality. It coordinates the activities of the Administration’s offices in Italy and abroad regarding transparency of administrative activity and public relations. In coordination with the competent administrations and other Directorates-General, it defines measures regarding the safety of personnel and security of central and foreign offices, implementing them for those areas not falling within the purview of other offices or structures. |
