“Monti is Europe’s messenger”, asserted Under-Secretary Marta Dassù in an interview for Sky in which she spoke about the Italian Premier’s meetings in the United States.Dassù underscored that Italy “is strongly in convinced of Europe, with a new, transatlantic touch, which the Anglo-Saxon countries certainly like”.
The Under-Secretary also spoke of our country’s role, citing Italy’s national success as being due to its having “agreed to make internal changes that have meant sacrifices”, which represents “a substantial step in the interests of Italians”.
