The agency for the foreign promotion and internationalisation of Italian businesses hosted a seminar today entitled: “Serbia: opportunities for economic collaboration for Italian businesses”, the purpose of which was to give Italian firms access to direct information on projects and opportunities for development and cooperation, particularly in the sectors of energy, agriculture/food processing, infrastructure, waste management and transport.
Italy was Serbia’s third largest supplier in 2011 with €1.293 million in exports (+20% compared with the previous year), and second largest purchaser at €936 million (+11% over 2010).
