16.15 – Italian marines: postponement of High Court of Kerala’s decision on jurisdiction is a sign of close attention to procedures. Message from the Head of State to the Minister “strong encouragement to continue in the task of obtaining the rapid release of Paolo Bosusco”

“This is a sign that procedural questions are being evaluated very carefully”. This was Minister Terzi’s comment on the new postponement of the High Court of Kerala’s decision on jurisdiction over the case of the two Italian servicemen. “Our legal team is continuing its action”, added Terzi. He defined as “important” the meeting between the Italian Premier, Monti, and his Indian counterpart, Singh, because it confirms the Indian authorities’ desire to collaborate and play a part in resolving this case.

Terzi announced that he has received a letter from the President of the Republic, Giorgio Napolitano, in which the Head of State offers him “strong encouragement to continue, with the utmost commitment and determination, in the task of obtaining the rapid release of Paolo Bosusco”.
