The Gattinoni fashion house took pride of place at Brasilia’s Fashion Week, with an international fashion show hosted by the Italian Embassy. The 2-day event attracted key figures from the worlds of politics, diplomacy and fashion, as well as journalists from the sector and young designers and students.
Science Without Borders
During the pre-show press conference at the Embassy, the fashion house announced it would offer 6-month internships to two young students, as part of the Science Without Borders programme. Launched by the Presidency of the Republic in late December 2011, the programme provides 100,000 grants for young Brazilians, of which 25,000 covered by funding from participating companies.
