Ambassador of Italy to Turkey Gianpaolo Scarante hosted a press conference on 19 April at Palazzo Venezia in Istanbul introducing the international symposium “Science for Peace”, promoted by the Veronesi Foundation in collaboration with Turkish research institutes. Illustrious scientists from around the world are expected to attend the symposium, to be held in October.
Prof. Umberto Veronesi joined the ambassador and representatives of the Italian community in Istanbul and high-level Turkish medical and healthcare system representatives to speak with a broad cross-section of Turkish and international media.
