Young South African sailing enthusiasts squared off in the first edition of the Italian Ambassador’s Trophy, held in the lake of the Simon’s Town naval base, near Capetown, South Africa. The regatta consisted of 8 young crews from the Izivunguvungu sailing school, which offers free courses for youngsters from 8 to 18 from the poorest settlements of the Western Cape region.
