USA – Caravaggio and followers on display in Connecticut

“Burst of Light: Caravaggio and his legacy” opened at Hartford Connecticut’s Wadsworth Atheneum, a major exhibition of 30 paintings by the great master and his followers on loan from Italian and European collections – including that in the museum’s own collection, “St. Francis in Ecstasy” – which has the support of the Consulate General in New York. One of the events organized for the Year of Italian Culture in the USA, it joins others such as actor Massimiliano Finazzer Flory’s performance of “Pinocchio” at Central Connecticut State University. Connecticut is the American State with the largest percentage of residents of Italian descent. Read more, in Italian.
