USA – The human figure in italian art showcased in New York

Italian art is again in the limelight in the Big Apple, with the Assonance/Dissonance” exhibition focusing on the human figure through the history of Italian art. On show are 14 masterpieces, ranging from archaeological finds to works by 16th and 17th century masters (Jacopo Bassano, Luca Giordano, il Cigoli and others) to contemporary artists (Chia, Clemente, Paladino, Pistoletto, Mondino). The exhibition was conceived by Gian Enzo Sperone, Riccardo Viale, Marco Voena, and the Italian Cultural Institute of New York. Read more, in Italian.
