BUENOS AIRES – Homage to Pier Paolo Pasolini

“Il fiore delle Mille e una notte in the photographs of Roberto Villa” is the title of an exhibition taking place in Buenos Aires from 4 to 30 June 2013. Organised by the Italian Consulate General, the Film Archive in Bologna, the Argentinian Film Archive and the Italian Cultural Institute in Buenos Aires, the exhibition is a homage to Pier Paolo Pasolini, 90 years from his birth. “Il fiore delle Mille e una notte” was the third film in the great director and intellectual’s “Trilogia della vita”, the fruit of his travels in countries like Iraq and Yemen. 110 previously unpublished photographs by Roberto Villa, who spent some time on the set, will be on display.
