ITALY-KENYA: opening of rural hospital in Nkubu

The new pavilions of the rural hospital of Nkubu, in Kenya, opened recently after being refurbished with a contribution by the Italian Cooperation of €1 million over three years. In addition to outpatient treatment areas and an emergency block, financing also went to training of staff, assigning study bursaries and boosting component dedicated to the fight against HIV and other diseases associated with poverty through awareness-raising and prevention.
