The events of the recently concluded 13th Italian Language Week in Senegal, organised by the Italian embassy in Dakar, concerned Italian language instruction in that country, with screenings of Italian films, an exhibition of Italian artists who live and work in Senegal and a concert by one of the best known Senegalese singer-songwriters Souleymane Faye, who lived in Italy for many years and speaks our language. The success of the initiative is a demonstration of the growing demand for Italian in Senegal. Read more, in Italian
