To provide medical assistance for the many people injured in the recent clashes in Ukraine and help replenish medical supplies, Italian Development Cooperation is to provide the Ukrainian Red Cross with funding of 100,000 euros. The Italian aid is one of the concrete responses by the European Commission and EU member states to the violence in the country. It was decided yesterday at the meeting of the working group on humanitarian aid.
