China: Italian optics exports show annual increase of 25,56%


In 2013, China imported Italian optical products valued at 356 million USD (+26.56% over the previous year), locating Italy as fifth largest exporter after Japan (3.167 million, -3.96%), South Korea (2.744 billion – 17.41%), Taiwan (2.359 billion, -5.19%) and the United States (495 million. -16.36%). In turn, China showed an increase of 29% in exports to Italy. The data emerged during the 14th International Optics Fair in Shanghai, where the 14 Italian Italian vendors present included some of the best-known industry names: Luxottica, Safilo, Marcolin and De Rigo.
