A new award for Roberto Bolle: the Italian dancer, star of La Scala in Milan and principal dancer at the American Ballet Theatre in New York, is to receive the UNESCO medal for Cultural Diversity.
UNESCO Director General Irina Bokova will present the award on 8 April 2014 at the organisation’s offices in Paris. To mark the event, the Farnesina, in collaboration with the Italian Permanent Mission to UNESCO and with support from the IULM University in Milan and Acqua di Parma, has organised a performance by the Italian dancer.
