Bosnia Herzegovina: Mostar Fair welcomes 50,000 visitors, Italy prominent
The 2014 edition of the International Mostar Fair, a major multi-sector trade fair In Bosnia Herzegovina welcomed 500 vendors and 50,000 visitors from nearly 30 countries. Italy made a prominent showing with a variety of initiatives: a visit by a delegation from the Abruzzo region accompanied by a dozen business representatives; activation by the UniCredit banking group of an Italian language help desk to assist our firms interested in local investments (Italy is the country’s third trade partner, with total exchanges equal to 10% of GDP and approximately 60 firms operating); the announcement by MistralAir com.pagnia of the Poste Italiane of the addition of twice-weekly flights between Rome and Mostar, which adds the Italian capital to the other destinations in Italy of Bari and Naples, along with numerous charter flights, while others are in the planning stages by MistralAir for Cuneo and Pisa.
