“Art Nouveau in Buenos Aires and the Italian architects of the Centennial” is the title of a seminar organised for 9 June by the Italian Cultural Institute of the Argentine capital with curators Willi Pastrana, Ivan Malesaniand Alejandro Figueroa. During the year of the Centennial (1910) the emerging middle class contracted Italian architects to build their grand homes, which are now considered to be among the city’s major architectural masterpieces.
