The conference on the Western Balkans is now under way in Vienna, as part of the annual meeting of Central European Initiative (CEI) foreign ministers. Foreign Minister Federica Mogherini is attending the meeting along with representatives of the CEI’s 18 member countries, the European Union’s Commissioner for Enlargement and Neighbourhood Policy, Stefan Fule, and the CEI’s Secretary General, Giovanni Caracciolo di Vietri.
The meeting will focus on the Western Balkans’ European integration process, the new challenges facing the CEI and its role as a bridge between European macro-regions.
