The study, carried out by the Indo-Italian Chamber of Commerce & Industry, underscores the strong correlation between the Indian food market’s steady growth (+ 15% annually) and the organisation and high quality standards of its agri-industry. There is what is known as the “Emilia-Romagna Agrimach Desk in India” located at the Indo-Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in New Delhi, Mumbai and Chennai. The demand for agricultural mechanisation is on the rise and, particularly in the food processing sector, with Indian operators seeking to import high quality and more automated technologies capable of saving energy and water. Also to be presented are the efforts of the edition of Project India, which intends to encourage trade penetration and the launch of collaborative exchanged with Emilia-Romagna and the Indian market.
