Hong Kong: Piaggio Aero wins 50 orders from Bravia Capital
Piaggio Aero Industries announced at the Farnborough Air Show (UK) that it has signed a contract with Bravia Capital for 50 Avanti EVO aircraft designed and built entirely in Italy. Bravia Capital is a Hong Kong-based investment company with a global portfolio focusing on the logistics and transport sectors.
The contract envisages the delivery of 10 aircraft in 2015, with 40 options for subsequent years, and marks the first major order since the Avanti EVO was launched in May 2014. The aircraft, the 3rd generation version of the P.180 Avanti, has a range of over 3,180 Km with a top speed of 745 Km/h, and fuel consumption 40% lower that other jets of the same class.
