The Italian Cultural Institute of Montevideo recently hosted the dedication of “Nel nome del Padre”, an artwork by Cesare Viel and Luca Vitone. The over 6-metre-high permanent installation is constructed on a steel-reinforced concrete column prepared by the artists, on which they inscribed the names of 357 women distinguished for their creativity, and is placed on the stairway leading to the rooms used for Italian language courses.
