The National Gallery of Art in Washington has mounted an exhibition on Italian Neoclassicism and Futurism that will run from early September to February 2015. The exhibit is part of the cultural events organised in honour of the Italian Presidency of the Council of the European Union. “I am very pleased to see the National Gallery dedicate such a prominent initiative to Italian art”, commented Italian Ambassador in Washington Claudio Bisogniero.
