Hong Kong – Cinema Italian Style comes to China

The third edition of “Cine Italiano! – Cinema Italian Style a Hong Kong” gets under way today, bringing the best in Made In Italy’s contribution to the “7th art” in one of the liveliest events of that Asian market. The series’ organisers include the Hong Kong International Film Fest Society (HKIFF), Istituto Luce Cinecittà and the Italian Cultural Institute and Consulate General of Hong Kong.


“Allacciate le cinture” and “Un ragazzo d’oro”


The event, which runs through 12 September, will be opened by Ferzan Ozpetek, who will present his “Allacciate le cincture”; while Pupi Avati’s recent winner of the Montreal Prize for best screenplay, “Un ragazzo d’oro”, with Sharon Stone and Riccardo Scamarcio, will be shown contemporaneously with its premier in Italian cinemas.
