A whirlwind “Giro d’Italia” was organised in Beijing to introduce Italy’s products, food and wine, tourism destinations and cultural events to the Chinese public. The event was hosted by the Italian Embassy, which provided support for around 70 participating Italian companies and welcomed about 5000 visitors. The “Giro” also featured EXPO 2015 and opportunities for Chinese students to learn our language or attend Italian universities.
Organised by the Italian Embassy in collaboration with other Italian offices and our Chamber of Commerce, the whirlwind tour of Italy closed with a concert at our Cultural Institute in Beijing. Read more, in Italian.
