Innovitalia is a web space managed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and international Cooperation (MAECI) and the Ministry of Education, Universities and Research (MIUR) with a view to fostering the internationalisation of Italian research. Its intention is to offer sector operators constant updates on MAECI efforts to promote science and technology cooperation with other nations both bilaterally and multilaterally.

Hosted by ResearchItaly, an Italian research web portal maintained by the MIUR, Innovitalia offers visibility to MAECI news, calls for tender, advisories and opportunities for Italian researchers, universities and research centres. The information published is supplied by the two ministries and the network of Italian foreign diplomatic missions, along with the science and space attachés associated with some of them. The Unit for Science and Technology Cooperation of the MAECI Directorate General for Country Promotion joins the MIUR in its editorial direction, while the technical aspects are the precinct of CINECA.
