Malaysia: upcoming call for tenders for Kuala Lumpur ATMS



The Malaysian Department of Civil Aviation announced the call within the next two months for tenders by the Ministry of Transport for the supply of a new air traffic management system (ATMS) that is an integral part of the modernisation plans for the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA). The contract will be valued at close to 700 million ringgit (approximately EUR 175 million). According to the same department’s director, firms that have established partnerships with Malaysian companies will have a greater possibility of being awarded the contract.
