Guatemala – Michelangelo’s “Rime” close Italian Language Week

“Le Rime di Michelangelo Buonarroti” is the title of the book presented at the closing event of the 14th Italian Language in the World Week in Guatemala. The theme of this year’s “Week” was “Writing the New Europe: Italian publishing, authors and readers in the digital age”. In a country with no Italian bookshops, the Italian Cultural Institute organised book fair to give lovers of Italy and its culture access to reasonably priced publications in Italian.
