The exhibition “War and Art: destruction and preservation of Italian cultural patrimony during the First World War” will run through 17 December in Kansas City. It was inaugurated on 18 November in the presence of Italian ambassador to Washington Claudio Bisogniero, Consul General in Chicago Adriano Monti and head of the Italian Cultural Institute of Chicago Andrea Raos. A series of photographs illustrate the Italian government’s efforts during those years to preserve many priceless works of art from the ravages of war. Read more, in Italian
