Skopje – “Ancient Mosaics of Ravenna” exhibition opens

An exhibition “Ancient Mosaics of Ravenna” will run through 8 January in Skopje, and was organised by the Italian embassy in collaboration with the City of Ravenna and the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Macedonia, with the support of the organisation for the Italian Presidency of the Council of the EU. Present at the inaugural evening were President of the Republic of Macedonia Gjorge Ivanov, a delegation from the City of Ravenna led by Alderman for the Environment Guido Guerrieri, Minister for Culture Elisabeta Kanceska-Milevska, Director of the Archaeological Museum Vesela Chestoeva and Italian ambassador to Skopje Ernesto Massimino Bellelli.
