Results from universities, research centres and businesses in Italy compared with the international context
The report highlights the results achieved by universities, research centres and businesses in Italy in comparison with the international context, along with the problems and gaps in performance associated with the lasting economic crisis. Established in 2003, COTEC-Europa works to identify public best practices in the enhancement of research, promotion of the three countries’ technological competitiveness and strengthening of their industrial capabilities. The three foundations organise a rotating annual conference that brings together the representatives of their respective governments and a selection of members of industrial and research spheres to outline common actions in matters of innovation policies and promote specific collaborative initiatives.
