“Pan del Alma” is the title of a collective book that writer Pino Cacucci will present on 25 February at the historic home/museum of Frida Khalo in Mexico City. The book is intended to provide a snapshot of one of the more remarkable aspects of Mexican culture: the celebrations, rituals and images associated with the Day of the Dead. It was edited by Gloria Corica and contains the contributions of artists and writers Dario Varrica, Angelica Ruiz, Stefano Delli Veneri, Simonetta Scala, Pietro Alagna, Carla Cavina, Carlo Bonfiglioli and Francesca Gargallo. A great connoisseur of Mexico, Cacucci has written a number of books on the country, its culture and traditions. The presentation is part of the events organised for the Year of Italy in Latin America. Read more, in Italian.
