The 2015-2016 economic priorities outlined by the Georgian government, and illustrated by Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili in the course of the Annual Development Partnership Forum, included development of competitiveness in the private sector and business in general, with a special focus on start-ups. In particular, he announced the opening within the year of a technological park in Georgia. Additionally, the government intends to invest in human capital development, with plans for education and professional training—including of Georgian citizens belonging to linguistic minorities—and in welfare development, especially as regard broadening access and improving medical care
quality. Development goals also include the rural, agricultural and hydro-electrical sectors. Read more in Italian.
