Uruguay’s International Film Festival, now in its 33rd edition, begins today, 1 April and runs until 12 April 2015. Italy will be taking part with a number of films including “L’intervallo”, by Leonardo Di Costanzo (2012) and “Gli equilibristi” by Ivano De Matteo (2012). Also featured will be “Il gesto delle mani” (2015) by Francesco Clerici, who will be appearing in person. The event, organised in collaboration with Cinemateca Uruguaya and the support of the Italian Cultural Institute in Montevideo, is part of the initiatives for the Year of Italy in Latin America.
