A delegation from the Italian Geographic Society (SGI) will make a visit to the Embassy of Italy and Italian Cultural Institute in Lima for the event “Italian Travelers and Explorers”, to be held on 11 June in the Pier Paolo Pasolini Auditorium. The event will examine the contributions of Italians such as Milanese geographer, cartographer, archaeologist and botanist Antonio Raimondi who travelled the length and breadth of Peru from 1851 to 1869.
