Italy and Nicaragua – Building relations

Italy and Nicaragua are building on relations, as our ambassador in Managua Renato Maria Ricci explained in a recent meeting with Nicaraguan Minister for Foreign Affairs Samuel Santos Lopez, who hailed Italy’s commitment to Latin and Central America, both in the context of the EU as well as in regional delegations. The minister also underscored positive bilateral trends in political, inter-parliamentary, economic and trade relations thanks, not least, to a visit to Managua by Italian Under-Secretary for Foreign Affairs Mario Giro.
