“The Farnesina: Numbers and Facts” will be the theme of the presentation of the Statistics Yearbook 2015, which will open at 12:00 at the Farnesina on 21 July with a speech by Secretary General Michele Valensise.
Italian foreign policy numbers for 2014
The publication, now in its 16th edition, gives an overview of the numbers related to Italian foreign policy for the year 2014. After a special focus on the statistics regarding culture, the Italian language abroad and economic diplomacy, the principal data regarding the organisation of the Italian Presidency of the Council of the European Union are also illustrated. The event, open to the press, will offer an opportunity to review the number of entry visas and to present the new “Visa for Italy” web portal.
International visits, development cooperation commitments and Crisis Unit interventions
Also listed are numbers of international visits, development cooperation commitments and Crisis Unit interventions, and an entire section of the Yearbook is dedicated to categories of data on Italians located abroad (civil data, prisoners, minor abductions, consular services).
A point of reference for foreign policy operators
The Yearbook is a compendium that has become a point of reference for foreign policy operators and anyone else in need of in-depth and accurate information on the Farnesina’s activities in 2014.
