Through the Directorate for Development Cooperation, Italy has earmarked another million euro for efforts going into support for refugees from Yemen in Somalia. The agreement was signed in Nairobi by Ambassador of Italy Fabrizio Marcelli and UNHCR representative in that East African country Bushra Halepota in the presence of Somali National Commissioner for refugees and internally displaced persons Ahmed Nur, Somali Ambassador to Kenya Jamal Mohamed Hassan and Somalia’s special envoy for the rights of children and refugees Mariam Yassin Hagi Yussuf.
