A documentary on Marco Polo, a joint production of a Kazakh opera, exchanges of history and art exhibitions, and archive research projects. These are just some of the initiatives planned for the Year of Italian Culture in Kazakhstan, which will run until October 2016. The “Year” was presented by the Italian Ambassador in Astana, Stefano Ravagnan, along with the Kazakh Minister for Culture and Sport, Arystanbek Mukhamediuly, and the rector of the Kazakh National
